Madeline and Jake’s wedding day was, in a word… perfect. Their love for one another is sweet, intentional, and pure, and their wedding was nothing short of magic.
Jake and Madeline are high school sweethearts! They’ve known each other since the fifth grade. How sweet is that?
It was such an honor and a privilege to be such an integral part of their special day. There were more than a few moments when I teared up from behind my camera during their ceremony — and when Madeline and her dad danced to Edelweiss from The Sound of Music? I couldn’t not cry while trying to take photos at the same time!
And did I mention these two were champs and braved the rain after their ceremony like the rock stars that they are? They were such good sports and opted to take their bride and groom portraits sans umbrella — which also meant traipsing through downtown Lake Geneva in the rain!
