Trinity Lutheran Church | Bear Creek, WI | Mr + Mrs Polzin
Lexie and Tim’s Bear Creek wedding day was full of so much joy. They got married in the small town of Bear Creek at the church where Lexie’s father is the pastor. He walked her down the aisle and then got up there and officiated his daughter’s wedding ceremony. If that isn’t special, I don’t even know what is. Their wedding day held happiness, friendship, joy, so much laughter… and an Elmo footstool!
They also got married on the HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR — which is really saying something for Wisconsin at the beginning of summer. 97°F with humidity and heat index making it feel like 108°F outside. We were all thanking God for the air conditioning inside that church that day, that is a fact. And the love flowed into their backyard reception where their big white tent provided shade, dinner, a place to sit, and the opportunity to catch up with loved ones that only weddings seem to bring around. The dance floor was even crowded once the sun went down behind the trees. Everyone was having a blast, despite the heat!
Everyone they love came together to celebrate Lexie and Tim, which is really what wedding days are all about after all, and their wedding day was absolutely the best way to kick off summer.
