Coffeehouse Engagement Session | Burlington, WI | K + B
When coffee is your love language, it’s definitely a no-brainer to start your engagement session at a local coffeehouse that you’ve never been to before but your photographer knows very, very well. Katherine and Brandon met me at the Coffeehouse at Chestnut and Pine in my hometown, Burlington, WI. We made some serious magic together as we went for a walk downtown and I reminisced on my childhood while telling them all the best places to shop and eat.
Visiting my hometown and bringing my camera along for the ride is always the sweetest gift. Getting to see my family and do what I love at the same time is always pure magic. I had to tell Katherine and Brandon all about my days working at the one, the only Adrian’s Frozen Custard across from Echo Park. From the Coffeehouse, we ventured up to the parking garage, and we of course had to stop by the iconic green wall of Mercantile Hall, my favorite hometown wedding venue. We ended our session making some magic in the little park behind the library, complete with an old rustic cabin and the sweetest moment when Katherine stole Brandon’s hat.
Brandon proposed to Katherine with a friendship bracelet he made for her that says I Love You. Isn’t that just the sweetest?! And as a bonafide swiftie, you know I am all about friendship bracelets.
