Rachel and Jon’s wedding at Gardens of Woodstock in Woodstock, IL was the perfect way to kick off busy season! One of my life mottos is always stop for flowers and I am always down for a garden wedding day. Rachel and Jon lucked out with the best weather for Labor Day Weekend, plus the gorgeous pops of color the late summer blooms added to their portraits made for the perfect wedding day.
I knew Rachel and Jon were going to throw one heck of a party because I photographed Rachel’s twin sister’s wedding back in 2020. We all joked during family portraits that I’m basically their family photographer now, haha. I also got to reconnect with another former AGP wedding couple that are friends of theirs and it felt like a big family reunion in the best of ways.
And truly, what’s a wedding day without a Taylor Swift dance party? Their grand entrance to “Paper Rings” was definitely one for the books.
