Jorgens Park Preserve Engagement | Scandinavia, WI | L + T
Lexie and Tim’s Jorgens Park Preserve Engagement was filled with golden light and tiny joys. We met at Jorgens Park Preserve in Scandinavia for a chilly January session that makes you snuggle closer, hug longer, and revel in your love story just to stop thinking about how cold your fingers are and that your socks are wet from muddy grass and melting snow. That’s actually my favorite part about winter engagement sessions — you’d be surprised at how much emotion comes out when you’re taking photos in the cold weather!
Whenever I do engagement sessions in the winter, I always encourage movement within your photos. Run down the hill. Now drunk walk back to me! Do you guys wanna do a piggy back ride? Anything that keeps you focused on each other instead of how cold you are is always a win for me. These will be the moments you think back on after your session and say, “You know what? That wasn’t bad. I might even say that was fun!” And that’s ALWAYS the goal here at AGP, for you to have fun during your session with me.
These two got married at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek where Lexie’s father is the pastor! They got married on the hottest day of the year and I cannot wait to share more from their wedding day on the blog so so soon.
