Mercantile Hall Wedding | Mr + Mrs Thomas
The motto at Mercantile Hall is Urban Feel, Small Town Love, and that perfectly sums up Trisha and Bradley’s wedding day. These two met in a bar in Nashville on Spring Break, and the rest was history. Their love story brought them to Trisha’s hometown in Burlington to tie the knot and commit to forever with one another. A Mercantile Hall wedding day is my fav — their space is so magical, and seeing my couples vision come to life never fails to amaze me.
Funny story… I am also from Burlington and did Trisha’s senior pictures way back in 2012! Reconnecting with clients who I have done photos for in the past always feels like catching up with an old friend.
We all anxiously kept a watchful eye on the sky in the hours leading up to their ceremony. Rain on your wedding day is good luck! But Mother Nature decided to bring a gnarly wind with it that forced us inside for bridesmaids photos. And then, in true Wisconsin fashion, the sun came out just in time for their ring exchange during the ceremony.
Trisha and Bradley danced to Taylor Swift’s Lover for their first dance, and then they had a special request before I left for the night — a private last dance. We lovingly kicked everyone out from the Urb Garden as Bradley pulled up the perfect song on his phone and held Trisha close. It was such a beautiful ending to such a beautiful day.
