Appleton Yacht Club Wedding | Mr + Mrs Balke
Anna and Shawn were my last wedding of the season for 2022, and their wedding at the Appleton Yacht Club was seriously the best! An intimate ceremony followed by the most chill reception — appetizers and good food, strong drinks, and their closest family and friends made the perfect day.
We were so excited to recreate some of the bridge photos we took during their engagement session with all the fall colors — but what we didn’t count on? Homecoming. Dozens of teenagers dressed to the nines all vying for a spot to take pictures on the very same bridge. You win some, you lose some. (At least the gazebo was free!)

Anna and Shawn’s cake topper was the perfect nod to their engagement session. Three dogs is a lot to handle on your wedding day on top of everything else too, so they decided to leave the pups at home and have them there in spirit on top of their cake!
