Backyard Wedding in Manawa, WI
Maranda and Aaron’s summer backyard wedding in Manawa was so sweet to witness. They opened their hearts and their home to everyone they love and invited them to come celebrate their love story. The field next to their house was full of campers and tents and their lifelong friends and extended family.
Mother Nature gifted Maranda and Aaron with rain right as we were finishing their groomsmen portraits. While everyone grabbed their umbrellas and we rushed toward the barn, I looked at Aaron’s brother Adam and said, “Well this seems familiar, doesn’t it?”
I photographed Adam’s wedding in the rain at Pamperin Park back in 2020! Here’s a fun throwback for ya!
Rain on your wedding day is not a bad thing! Some even believe it brings good luck. I always tell my couples whenever rain is in the forecast that no matter what happens – at the end of day, you’ll be married, and that’s what matters most.
And then, if you’re up for it, we can get your dress a little dirty and get mud on your shoes and go have a little adventure in the rain together. Or if Mother Nature is in your favor, she’ll cool it with the rain and bring out the best summer night to throw a giant party with everyone you love.
EITHER WAY, we will make magic out of it.
