Downtown Manitowoc Wedding Day | The Venue at Union Square | Mr + Mrs Kiesow
Kayla and Ben’s downtown Manitowoc wedding day was full of little details and tiny joys. Their ceremony at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church was so heartfelt and Christ-centered, I shed tears from behind my camera in the back of the church. These two opted to not kiss in front of everyone at the end of their ceremony. They came back down the aisle and shared a private kiss in the back of the church as their wedding party and parents followed behind them.
During their reception at The Venue at Union Square, the sweetest details were everywhere. Kayla and Ben made their guest book their bible where guests lovingly highlighted a passage to guide them into their marriage and left kind messages and words of wisdom for them. They also did a cake smash honeymoon fund and whomever had the most money in their glass before the cake cutting had to take cake to the face. Kayla drew their signature drink signage for the bar. Their family and friends lit up the dance floor and I got some of my favorite reception and dancing moments I have ever captured.
We lucked out with the most gorgeous sunset for Kayla and Ben’s bride and groom photos. Mother Nature was really on our side that day — which is rare for October in Wisconsin! Thankful to her when she gives us good weather on wedding days.
