Riverside Park Family Session | Thorngate-Rein Family
The Thorngate-Reins contacted me about a family mini session over Thanksgiving weekend and we got the last of the autumn trees. Talk about GOOD LUCK with Mother Nature. We also lucked out with the last day before Wisco got dumped with snow!
I have known Susy since we were little. She lived right around the corner from me growing up, but we didn’t become friends until high school. We were thrown together a lot with our different activities — theatre, choir, and just hanging out with our mutual friends. We’ve evolved through our childhoods and overcoming grief and bonded over our traumas and how sharing has made us stronger. She is currently in the middle of making a documentary called Grace is My Middle Name, and I had the honor of directing a small part of it. I cannot wait to share more about that soon!
Little Esther is such a joy. She looks just her mama did when she was little — complete with the vintage 90s overalls! She loved the playground, and there is no better way to capture toddlerhood than letting the toddlers do their thing. We ran up and down the jungle gym, went down the slides, and little miss had so much fun on the swings! Also, guaranteed a good play session at the playground means your little one will take the best nap after our session together.
