Garden Family Session | The Wayerski Family

Sometimes, the best laid plans go awry, but make for magic when you figure out that Plan B. The Wayerski family originally wanted a sunflower session last summer, and due to sickness and weather we weren’t able to make that happen. We planned for Peony Days this year, and again the weather was not on our side. On the plus side though, we still found flowers for their family photos! Nels Rasmussen Park, right by The Danes Hall in Waupaca, is one of my favorite spots for photos. The flowers make for the perfect garden family session!

10/10 recommend toad hunting during your session. These are the moments that you will look back on and laugh about five and ten years from now and look at your babies and say, Holy cow — when did you grow up on me?!

Trust me, it happens every time.

This is why documenting your family is so important. Recording these mundane moments will become the legacy of their childhood. One day, whether we like it or not, they will lose their baby face and that wide eyed wonder at everything. All you will have to look back on are the photos and videos you took to record the moment. One day, life as you know it will be totally and completely different. Your kiddos won’t be so little anymore. Don’t be left wondering where all the time went.
