State Park Family Session | Roche A Cri State Park | Granzow Extended Family
Summer is the perfect time to gather up your whole extended family for a session! Aimee reached out to me about a session the weekend family was on vacation in Wisconsin Dells. I knew we were going to make some sweet magic together. We landed on Roche A Cri State Park for their family session as a halfway point between the Dells and Waupaca. The black eyed susans on the prairie gave us the picture perfect backdrop for their fun family photos. The little dots of yellow are significantly better than the green-brown grass Wisconsin loves to give us in August!
Firstly, the Granzow family came to play! We had so much fun dancing, throwing a tennis ball, and twirling around in the flowers on the prairie at Roche A Cri.
Extended family sessions are such a great reminder that all of this joy around you is all because two people fell in love. They are the perfect way to honor your family, your mom and dad as grandparents, and the lives you have built apart from them coming together. You can feel the joy and the magic in the air. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness and to document as your photographer.
Furthermore, as long as you come to your session not with the goal of perfect photos, but with the goal of having a fun adventure together, your photos will encompass that silliness that comes out when you are around the people who get you the most.
